According to this notice, applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill the vacant positions in the Civil Service Open, and Inclusive Competitive Examinations as per the details below.

Eligible candidates who meet the minimum qualification requirements are requested to submit their applications through the Public Service Commission’s online application system at psconline1.psc.gov.np

Special Information Regarding This Notice:

In accordance with the directive order issued by the Honorable Supreme Court under Writ No. 078-WO-0660, this notice has been published under the Civil Service Act, 2049, until the positions for the inclusive category are determined as per the Federal Civil Service Act.

Type of Examination:

As per the prescribed syllabus — Written Examination, Practical Test, and Interview.

Written Examination Schedule:

To be published later.

Examination Centers:

Kathmandu (Main center).

For positions under the Nepal Engineering Service (Civil Group) and Nepal Justice Service (Justice Administration Group), exams will also be conducted at the Commission’s offices located in Janakpur (Jaleshwar), Kathmandu, Pokhara, Butwal, Surkhet, and Dipayal.

Examination Fee:

For each advertisement: NPR 1,200 (One Thousand Two Hundred).

For additional applications under the same service/group/sub-group for inclusive categories, an additional NPR 400 (Four Hundred) per category must be paid.

Application Deadlines:

Regular Deadline: Up to 2082/8/16

With Double Fee: Up to 2082/8/23

Age Limit:

For Civil Service positions: Must have completed 21 years of age and not exceeded 35 years as of 2082/8/16. For female and differently-abled candidates, the upper age limit is 40 years.

For Health Service positions: Must have completed 21 years of age and not exceeded 45 years as of 2082/8/16.

Special Provision:

In accordance with the interim order of the Honorable Supreme Court dated 2079/10/20, until the final decision of the concerned case, the age limit shall not apply to currently serving government employees who had applied in response to the advertisement published on 2076/2/15 for local-level positions but were not selected in the examination.

Such candidates must upload relevant proof in the Experience section of the online application system.

Mode and Place for Submission of Examination Fee:

The examination fee may be paid through electronic payment directly via the Commission’s online application system, or in cash at the designated bank by submitting the bank voucher containing the Master ID and Transaction Reference Number.

Final date for fee submission: Up to 2082/8/24 (within office hours).

Candidates must upload the following documents in PDF format in the designated section of the online application system:

# Documents proving inclusion category (if applicable)
